We are a foundation. We are a network. We are a brotherhood.
We are The Guardians Guild.

We are a not-for-profit company, established by a small group of men from the Black Country in the West Midlands.
We all have our own stories to tell, each involving our own personal struggles with mental health issues, and each coloured by our own interpretations of how men are expected to deal with these kinds of pressures.
In the end, we all need somewhere to let off steam, talk through the problems that plague us, confide in others, and have somewhere to go where we will be supported no matter what.
This is why The Guardians Guild was born. To create a community that exists to support each other through tough times, to signpost to professionals where needed, and most importantly, to work as a team for the benefit of others.

How does it work?
At the moment we are just starting out, but our vision is grand and our resolve is unwavering. Our objectives are:
Attending events
We will be attending as many local events as possible, with the intention of growing the community, raising funds, and having down-to-earth conversations with men in the same position as we were once in.
Mental health first-aiders
Our partnership with Black Country Mental Health gives us access to mental health first aid training. This allows us to have potentially life-saving conversations with people experiencing a crisis of mental health. This is something we want to offer to as many Guild members as possible as a very first step before signposting people to professional help.
Hosting Events
We hope to eventually host Guild events involving chapters from around the country to raise funds en masse to support our chosen charities. Every penny we raise will go to help others. In the meantime, we are currently holding meet ups and local events. Please check our event calendar for details. We would love to see you at an event soon!
Grow the Guild
Our ultimate goal is to set up chapters right across the country. We will provide potential new chapters with active help and advice on setting up as a Community Interest Corporation (CIC) and becoming a subsidiary of The Garrison Guild, complete with their own customised chapter badges and access to coveted Guild Member patches. We will also help other chapters with funding for events and initiatives.
Raising Funds
Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for our partnered charities. A small amount of funds raised will be invested back into the Guild, to fund charity events and initiatives but the majority will be donated to our partnered charities.
Count me in! How do I get involved?
