Structure of the Guild

The guild is structured like a biker club, although we don’t actually ride bikes… Well, motorbikes. We are quite partial to a pedal every now and again.

Anyway, we are NOT associated with any 1% gang and we are not a territorial biker gang in ANY WAY!

Why do we look like a biker club?

Well, that’s everything to do with men’s mental health and the stigma that surrounds it. We want to prove that even in something as a biker club, we can still talk about mental health and be there for one another.

There is a symbolic element to this as well. There is such a strong bond within the brotherhood of a biker club that we wanted to emulate. We have each other’s backs and we are always there for each other. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, you don’t need to be a fully badged member to be looked after by the guild. We will help anyone. That is our commitment. That is our promise.

Our ethos is and always will be:
Stand tall.

Be strong.

You are not alone.

Anyone can be a part of the guild. We accept help from absolutely anyone and we are committed to helping absolutely anyone too.

If you want to wear the official guild badge and become a fully patched member, then all we ask is that you show your commitment to men’s mental health and the guild through a variety of actions:

  • Getting involved in charity events
  • Helping support key guild functions (website, socials etc)
  • Spread the word
  • Making regular donations/sponsorship
  • Any other ideas you wish to present (we’re always open to new ideas!)

Please feel free to get in touch, or if you have any questions, please reach out and we’d be more than happy to chat through the process.

The Guild Oath

Anyone seeking to become a member must swear the guild oath which embodies the essence and foundation of the Guardians Guild:

I stand before my brothers

Not as a lone rider

But part of a pack

I pledge my voice to the silence

My strength to the struggle

And my heart to the healing.

I will raise awareness

Where there is ignorance,

Extend a hand where there is isolation

And fight stigma

With every mile we walk together.

I vow to never leave a brother behind.

In darkness, in doubt, or indespair.

We ride together, even if we walk.

For the cause, the crew, for the courage it takes to speak.

I am a guardian.

I am the storm behind the calm.

And I will never back down.
